Gold standard accessibility achieved for SacRT

SacRT, Sacramento County's primary transit agency, operates an extensive network of bus routes, light rail services, and paratransit options. We were tasked with overhauling their website to improve accessibility, real-time updates, and user experience. We transformed their website into a user-friendly platform with real-time tools for effortless trip planning, live parking updates, and crucial service alerts. This makes SacRT more accessible and empowers riders to navigate the city with confidence.

A few unique solutions that
we designed for SacRT

Exemplifi developed an interactive trip planner featuring real-time route mapping using Geocode API. The app allows users to input start and destination points to receive step-by-step directions for their transit journeys.

Customized trip planner

To improve the Park and Ride experience, Exemplifi implemented live parking availability using Maps API and GeoJSON. This enables users to check available parking slots, filter by location, transit line, and station type, and access accurate address information for each parking spot.

Park and ride enhancements

Exemplifi built a real-time transit map using GeoJSON and Maps API. This interactive map allows users to explore routes and stations and visualize trip options, enhancing their ability to navigate the SacRT system.
Interactive system maps

Exemplifi designed a station-specific alert system with XML validation. This system ensures that commuters receive accurate, real-time service updates, helping them stay informed about any changes or disruptions to service.
